Curriculum Offerings

Siena Catholic College offers a broad, rigorous and future-focused curriculum from Years 7–12, providing academic, practical and vocational pathways that prepare students for university, further training and employment.

Years 7–10

Students develop strong foundations through a balanced curriculum that includes:

  • Religious Education
  • English
  • Mathematics (including extension pathways in Years 10)
  • Science
  • Humanities
  • Health and Physical Education
  • Languages (Italian)
  • Technologies
  • The Arts

In addition, students explore a wide range of electives, allowing them to discover interests, develop talents and make informed senior subject choices in Years 11 and 12.

Years 11 and 12

Senior students can select from a diverse range of General, Applied and Vocational pathways, supporting individual goals and pathway aspirations.

This includes:

  • ATAR pathways across Mathematics, English, Science, Humanities, The Arts and Technologies, including the addition of extension subjects over Units 3 and 4
  • Applied subjects supporting practical and workforce-ready learning
  • Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses are delivered in partnership with external providers, including Certificate II, Certificate III and Diploma qualifications
  • School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBAT)

This flexible approach ensures students graduate with qualifications, skills and confidence to succeed beyond school.
