The Siena Sport program has developed a strong philosophy which is based on:
Participation
Preparation
Performance
Premierships
Sport plays a major role in not only a students physical development but it engenders a sense of team and spirit that can permeate into the classroom, thus improving student learning and school spirit. All students are encouraged to participate in the various activities planned and sports played throughout the year.
Sport at Siena falls under two categories, these being Curricular Sport which is timetabled for Years 7 - 9 and Co-Curricular Sport which is conducted out of school hours for all year levels.
The College conducts annual Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals which are participation based for all students and from which school teams are selected to compete at Coastal District Carnivals.
There are many opportunities for students to represent the College in Interschool competitions as well as gain representative selection at Coastal District (10 - 12 years and 13 - 19 years - Central District), Regional (Sunshine Coast Regional), State and National level.
