Year 11 students are offered the opportunity to participate in a Leadership Camp during the final week of Term 4. During the course of this camp students are encouraged to consider the rights and responsibilities of service to school and others and the qualities which identify a true leader. Activities include group challenges and team building.
During the dynamic three day program there are opportunities for spiritual reflection and tasks are assigned which specifically require students to work cohesively as a cohort to develop a direction for the groups following year as worthy men and women of Siena in leadership roles and as senior students at the College.
The camp is an optional activity, however we encourage students to attend this culminating activity and have found that those who do so gain much from the experience. On the final night of the camp students are given the opportunity to vote for those who have nominated themselves for formal leadership roles. This camp is a wonderful way for students to be affirmed and to affirm others in their year group.
