Mackenzie Duffy has paddled her way to Romania

MackenzieDuffymedal.jpgCongratulations to Year 12 student Mackenzie Duffy, who has paddled her way to Romania after competing at the National Kayak Championships!  Mackenzie's results culminated in her gaining selection as one of the five women in the U18 Australian Team to race at the Junior World Kayak championships in Romania in July after scoring 5 golds, 3 silvers and a bronze at the national kayak championships.
Gold Medals in K4 1000m, K4 500m, K4 200m, K2 1000m, K2 500m
Silver Medals in K2 200m, ​K1 1000m, K1 500m
Bronze Medal in K1 200m
It doesn't stop there......after the kayaking nationals, Mackenzie followed up with some great results at the Qld Surf Lifesaving Titles, winning the U17 Female Single Surf Ski as well as being in the teams that won the U17 Female Surf Ski Relay and U17 Female Ta​plin Relay (1 x ski paddler + 1 x board paddle + 1 x swimmer).
